Be careful if you decide to use a sports figure as your leader. Sports figures are very popular,

but you must justify that they are true leaders, and have the traits, characteristics and styles

that we will discuss in this course.

Your leader could be looked at as your “hero,” someone whose traits, characteristics and

styles you would like to emulate in your life. For example, one might choose Michelle Obama

because she came from a poor family and through hard work went to law school, etc.
