We will collect data on average network throughput and packet delay after running the simulation. The average network throughput is a measure of how much data a network can send per unit of time. It is calculated by dividing the total amount of data sent by the time it took to send the data. The average packet delay is the time it takes for a packet to travel from one node to the next. This metric is critical for determining network efficiency.
To provide a visual representation of the network’s performance, the simulation results will be presented using plots and graphs. We will experiment with network parameters to see how they affect network performance. For instance, we’ll look at how the number of nodes affects network throughput and packet delay. We will also investigate the effect of varying data arrival rates and CW size on network performance.
